RILC’s services are funded through three key means:
Without the generous support of a number of philanthropic trusts, foundations and private donors, we would not be able to provide the level assistance we offer each year.
RILC is also a contractor under the Commonwealth Department of Immigration and Citizenship, Immigration Advice and Application Assistance Scheme (IAAAS), to provide free advice and representation to a number of asylum seekers and people with general immigration matters in the community and in immigration detention, as well as community information sessions.
RILC also receives recurrent funding under the Victorian Government’s Community Legal Service Program (CLSP) administered by Victoria Legal Aid, to provide legal advice and casework, community education, and law reform and advocacy activities.
