Short Course
RILC regularly offers a short course in Australian Immigration Law – the ‘Migration Maze’ – which is specifically designed for lawyers wishing to expand their area of practice or as a refresher course for lawyer migration agents. The course covers a number of key areas and issues likely to be encountered in migration law practice.
A number of units in the course have been allocated CPD points under the MARA scheme so Registered Migration Agents who undertake this course as a refresher may claim points. Legal practitioners may also claim CPD points for attendance.
Legal Practitioners holding current practising certificates may register as migration agents without having to complete the Graduate Certificate in Immigration Law which is the MARA prescribed course for all applicants who do not hold practising certificates.
